Born on November 12th, 1965, after graduating in law from the University of Zurich (1990), he worked as legal trainee at a well-known law firm in Lugano and at the Court of Appeal. He held the position of Vice-Chancellor at the Chamber of Criminal Appeals. Subsequently, he was responsible for the claims service of a leading insurance company in Lugano. At the Lugano Prosecutor's Office, he worked firstly as Judicial Secretary and then as Prosecutor of the Canton of Ticino until the end of 2008. Since 2009 he has been working as a lawyer and public notary at his own law firm and notarial office. He is fluent in German and French and has good knowledge of English, Spanish and Portuguese. In his spare time he loves spending time with his family, he is also passionate about sports, especially mountain biking, skiing and swimming. He also likes riding and watching movies. He is a nature lover and enjoys convivial moments.
